Tony Rumfallo

The eldest of the Rumfallo brothers, Tony's passion for aviation began as a child, spending countless hours watching aircraft with his dad and sister, building model airplanes, and photographing them in simulated flight. The movie Top Gun eventually helped inspire his decision to join the military.

In 1987, Tony enlisted in the U.S. Air Force straight out of high school. Hoping to see the world, he ironically found himself stationed close to home at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. He served a combined six years in the Air Force and Utah Air National Guard.

Following his military service, Tony built a diverse aviation career working on flight lines at major airports, including Salt Lake City, Denver, and Oklahoma City. He later joined Southwest Airlines, becoming a Reservations Trainer/Instructor, before earning his Flight Dispatch License in 2002 and spending the next decade as a dispatcher for SkyWest Airlines.

Tony's experience extends beyond aviation. With more than 20 years as a radio DJ and broadcasting experience at NBC's Broadcast Center during the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, he brings a unique combination of aviation knowledge, storytelling, and production experience to The RampCheck Aviation Livestream.

From flying aboard a Douglas DC-3 to experiencing the massive C-5 Galaxy during his military service, Tony has collected countless aviation memories and stories—and he's always happy to share them with fellow AvGeeks!

Aaron Rumfallo

The middle of the Rumfallo brothers, Aaron developed his passion for aviation at an early age. His first flight experiences included a Bell 206 JetRanger, a Cessna 120, and time around Classic Lifeguard III's Bell 206 LongRanger near Lake Powell. These early experiences, along with some hands-on flight time, sparked a lifelong fascination with aircraft.

Aaron began his aviation career in his late teens, working on the ramp for United Express in Colorado. His career later took him to airports in Salt Lake City, Provo, and Phoenix–Mesa, working with Hudson General, Million Air, Gateway Aviation Services, and ASIG, where he managed aircraft de-icing operations. Along the way, he developed lasting relationships throughout the aviation community.

Combining his aviation experience with a passion for photography, Aaron has enjoyed unique opportunities to photograph aircraft from the air. Highlights include flying aboard a Utah Air National Guard KC-135E Stratotanker, three flights with the U.S. Army Golden Knights aboard their former C-31A, and historic warbirds including the B-25 Mitchell "Super Rabbit", B-17 Flying Fortress "Sentimental Journey", and P-51 Mustang "Newf" with the late Russ McDonald. One particularly unforgettable experience was flying aerobatics over Tucson with legendary helicopter pilot Chuck Aaron in his Red Bull BO-105 helicopter.

Today, Aaron brings decades of aviation experience and creativity to RampCheck Aviation, handling all graphic design work, including the original designs behind RampCheck's aviation-inspired merchandise and branding. He also produces photography, video, and original media that capture the power, beauty, and excitement of aviation while sharing his passion with aviation enthusiasts around the world.

Ryan Rumfallo

The youngest of the Rumfallo brothers, Ryan grew up surrounded by aviation. From attending airshows and watching aircraft at the ends of runways to tracking flights with his aviation scanner from the backyard shed, his passion for aviation started early.

At 18, Ryan began working at Salt Lake International Airport, determined to be as close to aircraft as possible. He eventually moved into airline ramp operations, supporting carriers including WinAir, JetBlue, and Frontier Airlines as a contractor through Million Air, before transitioning into general aviation.

Over more than 16 years in general aviation, Ryan worked with Million Air, Tac Air, and Atlantic Aviation, holding leadership positions including Deice Coordinator, Line Supervisor, and Training Manager. His experience includes servicing private aircraft, air ambulances, charter flights, professional sports teams, and Utah Air National Guard operations. Career highlights include supporting the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics and Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. Having crossed paths with countless celebrities, Ryan jokes it's easier to name those he hasn't met!

Ryan brings his aviation knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to RampCheck Aviation.
